Handloom weaving is an ancient craft that has been passed down through generations in India. However, with the rise of fast fashion and the availability of machine-made textiles, traditional handloom weavers have been struggling to compete. Many of them are forced to work for low wages and under harsh conditions, which has led to the decline of this once-thriving industry.
Faburra recognizes the importance of preserving this valuable craft and has set out to make a difference. We work directly with handloom weavers in rural and semi urban areas, providing them with a platform to showcase their work and access to a wider market. This not only provides a sustainable source of income for the weavers but also helps to keep the craft alive for future generations.
Faburra's clothing products are handcrafted using traditional techniques, making each piece unique and special. They offer a wide range of clothing products like Handloom Cotton, Chanderi, Ajrakh Modal, Kota, Linen, Tassar Silk sarees, suits and dupattas etc. all made by skilled artisans using natural fabrics. The company also uses eco-friendly and sustainable materials wherever possible, ensuring that their products are both beautiful and environmentally friendly.
In addition to supporting the weavers, Faburra also promotes fair trade practices. We ensure that the artisans are paid a fair wage for their work and work under ethical conditions.
